QPOP Guidelines

Partners will need to follow the below guidelines to participate in QPOP:

  • Add 3-5 Chromebooks to partner's QA process with agreed upon models
  • Integrate ChromeOS test plans to partner's QA process with agreed upon models
  • Adopt ChromeOS compatible (and/or Works With Chromebook) specs in product development with agreed upon models
  • Incorporate ChromeOS FW update (via fwupd) whenever possible
  • All new or existing products will need to be tested (priority to be discussed with ChromeOS team)
    • Products will only need to be retested if there is a change in component(s) and/or major FW update release
    • Share related test reports with Google for validation
  • If possible, share high level shipment numbers and list of customers if possible for OEM QPOP program outreach
  • If possible, provide list of ICs/SoCs/components for reference/OTS (off the shelf) models submitted
