QPOP is a ChromeOS program for peripheral partner ODMs and ICs, designed to support our goal where all peripherals will “Just Work” on ChromeOS devices.

QPOP Guidelines
Partners will need to follow the below guidelines to participate in QPOP:
- Add 3-5 Chromebooks to partner's QA process with agreed upon models
- Integrate ChromeOS test plans to partner's QA process with agreed upon models
- Adopt ChromeOS compatible (and/or Works With Chromebook) specs in product development with agreed upon models
- Incorporate ChromeOS FW update (via fwupd) whenever possible
- All new or existing products will need to be tested (priority to be
discussed with ChromeOS team)
- Products will only need to be retested if there is a change in component(s) and/or major FW update release
- Share related test reports with Google for validation
- If possible, share high level shipment numbers and list of customers if possible for OEM QPOP program outreach
- If possible, provide list of ICs/SoCs/components for reference/OTS (off the shelf) models submitted
QPOP program benefits
Partners that are a part of QPOP will have the following program benefits:
- Access to ChromeOS Compatible & WWCB specs
- Insight to ChromeOS feature roadmap (eg. Fast Pair)
- Subsidized Chromebook test devices
- Annual Partner Summit invitation
- ChromeOS engineering support & available automated test tools
- Platform SW development support (eg. fwupd)
- Subsidized TBT testing for ChromeOS (limited quantity)
- Subsidized 3P lab qualification testing for QPOP
- Listed on the External Partner Site (if partners pass QPOP testing)
- Promote QPOP to WWCB pOEMs (e.g. email blasts, etc)
