Für E-Mail-Markups werden strukturierte Daten in E-Mails verwendet. Gmail unterstützt sowohl JSON-LD als auch Mikrodaten. Sie können beide Formate verwenden, um Informationen in E-Mails zu kennzeichnen. So kann Google die Felder verstehen und dem Nutzer relevante Suchergebnisse, Aktionen und Karten präsentieren. Wenn es sich beispielsweise um eine E-Mail zu einer Veranstaltungsreservierung handelt, können Sie die Startzeit, den Veranstaltungsort, die Anzahl der Tickets und alle anderen Informationen kennzeichnen, die die Reservierung definieren.

Ihr erstes Markup

Angenommen, Sie sind dafür verantwortlich, Tickets für die Google I/O 2013 an die Teilnehmer zu senden, und möchten in diesen E-Mails semantische Informationen verwenden. Ihre Ticketbestätigungs-E-Mail enthält mindestens HTML-Code wie den folgenden:

Die obige E-Mail enthält die Mindestmenge an Informationen, um eine Veranstaltungsreservierung zu definieren. Sie können auch andere Informationen in Ihren E-Mails markieren, um die Nutzerfreundlichkeit zu verbessern. Mit der Property ticketToken des Objekts FlightReservation können Sie beispielsweise ein Barcodebild wie einen QR-Code hinzufügen, der in eine Bordkartenkarte eingefügt werden kann.
