Web Search Service API

The Web Search Service API allows programmatic partners to develop websites
and applications that retrieve and display Google Search results.
Partners can use REST or gRPC requests to retrieve search results in JSON
format.
The Web Search Service API returns results in standard JSON format
containing search result items, timing, and metadata.
Prerequisites
Before querying the API, partners must complete the following setup:
- Google Cloud Project: An active Google Cloud project.
- API Key: An API key created in the Google Cloud Console to authenticate
requests.
- Client ID: A designated
client_id associated with the partner
agreement.
Monitoring
Monitoring for the Web Search Service API is available natively through the
Google Cloud Console's API
Dashboard.
