Get access to documentation and APIs for Corporate Badge

  • Accessing the Tap and Pay API may require completing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for restricted site sections and a Wallet API terms of service agreement for API access.

  • Before production use, you must accept the non-customizable Wallet API terms of service agreement, which prohibits any prior digitizations in the production environment.

  • You can request access to both documentation and the Tap and Pay Client API or documentation only through designated Google forms.

  • Google typically responds to access requests within one business day, and the agreement links are sent via email from dse_na2@docusign.net.

To get started using the Tap and Pay API, you might need to complete up to two legal agreements with Google, depending on your needs. Below is a summary of what to expect with each agreement and what options are available to you.

1. Non-disclosure agreement (NDA)

You need an NDA to access the restricted sections of this developer site. After you have accepted the NDA, the team adds your Google Account to the access list for the restricted sections of this developer site and sends a confirmation email.

2. Wallet API terms of service agreement

Google requires you complete a click-to-accept Wallet API terms of service agreement before allowing access to the Tap and Pay Client API. We strictly prohibit you from performing any digitizations in the production environment prior to accepting this agreement. The agreement is not customizable. After you have accepted the agreement, you can download a PDF version for your records.

Next steps

You have two options:

Option 1: Request access to documentation and Tap and Pay Client API

Option 2: Request access to documentation only

Request access to the documentation only by completing a Google Wallet Access documentation request.

Notes

  • Google usually follows up to requests within 1 U.S. business day of completion of the aforementioned forms and agreements.

  • The signatory receives a link to each CTA agreement from the email alias dse_na2@docusign.net. If the signatory is having trouble finding the email, have them search for an email from that address and check their spam filter.
