При шифровании с открытым ключом данные защищаются двумя ключами: открытым и закрытым. Открытый ключ используется для шифрования, а закрытый ключ – для расшифровки. Этот вариант подходит, если отправитель не может хранить секреты и ему нужно зашифровать данные с помощью открытого ключа.

Примитив гибридного шифрования сочетает эффективность симметричного шифрования с удобством криптографии с открытым ключом (асимметричной). Зашифровать данные с помощью открытого ключа может любой, а расшифровать их – только тот, у кого есть закрытый ключ.
При гибридном шифровании отправитель генерирует новый симметричный ключ для шифрования открытого текста каждого письма. Этот симметричный ключ инкапсулируется с помощью открытого ключа получателя. При гибридном шифровании получатель извлекает симметричный ключ и использует его для расшифровки зашифрованного текста, чтобы получить исходный открытый текст. Гибридное шифрование обладает следующими свойствами:
- Secrecy Никто не сможет получить информацию о зашифрованном открытом тексте (кроме его длины), если у него нет доступа к закрытому ключу.
- Асимметрия. Зашифровать текст можно с помощью открытого ключа, а расшифровать – только с помощью закрытого.
- Рандомизация. Шифрование выполняется случайным образом. Два сообщения с одинаковым открытым текстом не будут иметь одинаковый зашифрованный текст. Это не позволяет злоумышленникам узнать, какой зашифрованный текст соответствует определенному открытому тексту.
В Tink гибридное шифрование представлено парой примитивов:
- HybridEncrypt для шифрования.
- HybridDecrypt для расшифровки.
Параметр контекстной информации
Помимо обычного текста, гибридное шифрование принимает дополнительный параметр context_info, который обычно представляет собой общедоступные данные, неявно следующие из контекста, но должен быть связан с полученным зашифрованным текстом. Это означает, что зашифрованный текст позволяет подтвердить целостность контекстной информации, но не гарантирует ее конфиденциальность или достоверность. Фактическая информация о контексте может быть пустой или нулевой, но для правильной расшифровки полученного зашифрованного текста необходимо предоставить то же значение контекстной информации, что и при шифровании.
Конкретная реализация гибридного шифрования может связывать контекстную информацию с зашифрованным текстом разными способами, например:
- Используйте
context_infoв качестве входных данных для симметричного шифрования AEAD (см. RFC 5116). - Используйте
context_infoв качестве входных данных CtxInfo для HKDF (если в реализации используется HKDF как функция формирования ключа, см. RFC 5869).
Выберите тип ключа
В большинстве случаев мы рекомендуем использовать тип ключа DHKEM_X25519_HKDF_SHA256_HKDF_SHA256_AES_256_GCM. Этот тип ключа реализует стандарт гибридного шифрования с открытым ключом (HPKE), как указано в RFC 9180. HPKE состоит из механизма инкапсуляции ключей (KEM), функции формирования ключей (KDF) и алгоритма аутентифицированного шифрования с сопутствующими данными (AEAD).
DHKEM_X25519_HKDF_SHA256_HKDF_SHA256_AES_256_GCM использует следующие методы:
