Sign in & accept terms
Go to your provided event link.
Sign in with your personal Gmail and accept the Terms of Service.

Create a project
Go to the Google Cloud Console.
Click Select a project (top navigation bar) > New Project (top right).
Name your project, click Create, and then select your new project.

Link billing
Open the top-left navigation menu and click Billing.
Click Link a billing account.
Select Google Cloud Trial Billing Account and click Set account. (If it's missing, wait 30 seconds and refresh the page).
