The Google Health API is available! As a reminder, on September 30, 2026, the legacy Fitbit Web API will be turned down. All integrations using the legacy API must complete their migration prior to this deadline and your users migrate their tokens to Google OAuth to ensure uninterrupted data continuity for your users.

To support developer velocity and the fast-growing trend of health intelligence, we have launched the Google Health API CLI, a dedicated command-line tool built specifically for the new Google Health API. As developers increasingly build automated workflows and personal health co-pilots, the Google Health CLI is engineered to be agent-friendly. We have shaped the command outputs, error messaging structures, and interface discoverability so that an AI agent can drive and interact with the CLI autonomously.
