Frequently Asked Questions (conference registration)

What is GTAC?

The Google Test Automation Conference (GTAC) is an annual test automation conference hosted by Google. It brings together engineers from industry and academia to discuss advances in test automation and the test engineering computer science field. It is a great opportunity to present, learn, and challenge modern testing technologies and strategies. The talks will focus on trends we are seeing in industry combined with compelling talks on tools and infrastructure that can have a direct impact on our products. We are committed towards creating a conference that is focused on testing for engineers by engineers!

What is the selection process for GTAC?

We randomly choose attendees from those who apply, with different weights for new comers vs. repeat attendees, and then spot check the results to make sure we have a reasonable distribution across geographical, experience level, and other factors that we collect on the registration form.
