כתובות אימייל חלופיות לשליחת אימייל מייצגות את כתובות האימייל שמהן אפשר לשלוח אימייל. לכל חשבון יש תמיד לפחות כתובת אימייל חלופית אחת שמייצגת את כתובת האימייל הראשית של החשבון.

כינויי 'שליחה בתור' תואמים לתכונה 'שליחת אימייל בשם' בממשק האינטרנט.

כינויים משמשים גם לניהול חתימות בחשבון. כדי לשנות חתימות לאימייל נדרשת הבנה בסיסית בכינויי 'שליחה בתור'. בסרטון שלמעלה מוסבר איך להשתמש בלולאה (loop) באמצעות כתובות אימייל חלופיות לשליחת הודעות, ולשנות את החתימה של כתובת האימייל הראשית של המשתמש.

יצירה ואימות של כינויים

צריך ליצור כתובות אימייל חלופיות לפני השימוש. במקרים מסוימים, המשתמשים צריכים גם לאמת את הבעלות על כתובות האימייל החלופיות.

אם נדרש אימות משתמש של Gmail לכתובת אימייל חלופית, כתובת האימייל החלופית תוחזר עם הסטטוס pending. הודעת אימות תישלח אוטומטית לכתובת האימייל של היעד. הבעלים של כתובת האימייל צריך להשלים את תהליך האימות כדי להשתמש בה.

כינויים שלא מחייבים אימות הם בסטטוס אימות של accepted.

הגדרות SMTP

כינויים לכתובות חיצוניות צריכים לשלוח אימייל דרך סוכן מרוחק לשליחת אימייל מסוג SMTP (MSA). כדי להגדיר את ה-MSA של SMTP עבור כינוי, עליכם להזין את פרטי החיבור בשדה smtpMsa.

ניהול חתימות
