Hotel Ads configuration requires that you send and receive messages to Google's servers. This includes updating the Query Control message and your Hotel Price Feed. If your servers have trouble communicating with Google's servers, retry your request as defined below. If the problem persists, contact your Technical Account Manager (TAM) or contact us.
- Pull: If Google receives an error message when sending Pull requests to your server, Google retries 5 times every 10 minutes before stopping. If your service is experiencing down time please contact your Google account manager.
- Changed Pricing: If Google receives an error when sending a Hint Request message, Google retries every 10 minutes for 24 hours. If your service is down, please contact your Google account manager. If Google still cannot send a Hint Request message after 24 hours, contact your Google account manager to re-establish a connection and refresh your data.
- Query messages: Similar to Pull, if Google cannot send your servers a Query message, Google retries 5 times every 10 minutes before stopping, at which point the Query message is lost.
If you are sending fairly large files (typically > 30MB) please allow for up to 10 minute before the file is loaded and/or processed.
