Method: customBiddingAlgorithms.scripts.create

  • Creates a new custom bidding script associated with a specific custom bidding algorithm.

  • Requires specifying the custom bidding algorithm ID and the owner (either partner or advertiser) in the request.

  • The request body should contain the details of the custom bidding script, as defined in the CustomBiddingScript object.

  • A successful response returns the newly created custom bidding script object.

  • Requires authorization with the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/display-video scope.

Creates a new custom bidding script. Returns the newly created script if successful.

Requests creating a custom bidding script under an algorithm assigned to a line item will return an error.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
customBiddingAlgorithmId

string (int64 format)

Required. The ID of the custom bidding algorithm that owns the script.

Query parameters

Parameters
Union parameter owner. Required. Identifies the DV360 entity that owns the parent custom bidding algorithm. It can be either a partner or an advertiser. owner can be only one of the following:
partnerId

string (int64 format)

The ID of the partner that owns the parent custom bidding algorithm.

Only this partner will have write access to this custom bidding script.
advertiserId

string (int64 format)

The ID of the advertiser that owns the parent custom bidding algorithm.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of CustomBiddingScript.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of CustomBiddingScript.

Requires the following OAuth scope:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/display-video
