Cómo funciona

Cuando seleccionas texto en Documentos, Hojas de cálculo o Presentaciones y haces clic en Obtener selección en el complemento, la secuencia de comandos copia el texto en el complemento, lo traduce y muestra el texto traducido.

De forma predeterminada, la secuencia de comandos detecta el idioma de origen y traduce el texto a inglés. Puede editar los idiomas fuente y objetivo.

Servicios de Apps Script

En esta solución, se usan los siguientes servicios:

Servicio de tarjeta: Crea la interfaz de usuario del complemento.
Servicio de idiomas: Traduce el texto con Google Traductor.

Requisitos previos

Para usar esta muestra, necesitas los siguientes requisitos previos:

Una Cuenta de Google (las cuentas de Google Workspace pueden requerir la aprobación del administrador).
Un navegador web con acceso a Internet.
Un proyecto de Google Cloud

Configure su entorno

Abre tu proyecto de Cloud en Google Cloud Console.

Si aún no está abierto, abre el proyecto de Cloud que deseas usar para este ejemplo:

En Google Cloud Console, ve a la página Seleccionar un proyecto.
Selecciona un proyecto de Cloud
Selecciona el proyecto de Google Cloud que deseas usar. O bien, haz clic en Crear proyecto y sigue las instrucciones en pantalla. Si creas un proyecto de Google Cloud, es posible que debas activar la facturación para el proyecto.

Cómo configurar la pantalla de consentimiento de OAuth

Los complementos de Google Workspace requieren una configuración de pantalla de consentimiento. La configuración de la pantalla de consentimiento de OAuth de tu complemento define lo que Google muestra a los usuarios.

En la consola de Google Cloud, ve a Menú > API y servicios > Pantalla de consentimiento de OAuth.
Ir a la pantalla de consentimiento de OAuth
Seleccione el tipo de usuario para su aplicación y, luego, haga clic en Crear.
Complete el formulario de registro de la aplicación y, luego, haga clic en Guardar y continuar.
Por ahora, puedes omitir el agregado de permisos y hacer clic en Guardar y continuar. En el futuro, cuando crees una app para usarla fuera de tu organización de Google Workspace, deberás agregar y verificar los permisos de autorización que requiere tu app.
Si seleccionaste Externo como tipo de usuario, agrega los usuarios de prueba:
1. En Probar usuarios, haz clic en Agregar usuarios.
2. Ingresa tu dirección de correo electrónico y cualquier otro usuario de prueba autorizado y, luego, haz clic en Guardar y continuar.
Revisa el resumen del registro de tu app. Para realizar cambios, haz clic en Editar. Si el registro de la app parece estar bien, haz clic en Volver al panel.

Configure la secuencia de comandos

Cree el proyecto de Apps Script

Haz clic en el siguiente botón para abrir el proyecto Traducir de Apps Script.
Abrir el proyecto
Haz clic en Descripción general .
En la página de descripción general, haz clic en Crear una copia .

Copia el número del proyecto de Cloud

Ve a tu proyecto de Google Cloud en Google Cloud Console.
Haz clic en Configuración y utilidades > Configuración del proyecto.
Copia el Número de proyecto.

Configure el proyecto de Cloud de su proyecto de Apps Script

En el proyecto de Apps Script que copiaste, haz clic en Configuración del proyecto .
En Proyecto de Google Cloud Platform (GCP), haga clic en Cambiar proyecto.
En Número de proyecto de GCP, pega el número de proyecto de Google Cloud.
Haz clic en Establecer proyecto.

Instala una implementación de prueba

En el proyecto de Apps Script que copiaste, haz clic en Editor .
Abre el archivo Code.gs y haz clic en Ejecutar. Cuando se te solicite, autoriza la secuencia de comandos.
Haz clic en Implementar > Probar implementaciones.
Haz clic en Instalar > Listo.

Ejecuta la secuencia de comandos:

Abre un archivo de Documentos, Hojas de cálculo o Presentaciones de Google, o crea uno nuevo.
En la barra lateral derecha, abre el complemento Traductor .
Si se le solicita, autorice el complemento.
Selecciona el texto del archivo.
En el complemento, haz clic en Obtener selección > Traducir.
