Cruises feed integrates your cruise itineraries and prices feeds into Google's Cruises search results. Upon clicking the results link, users are redirected to your website to complete the booking workflow.
The structure of the feeds is defined by Google. Feeds contain information about your itineraries and prices. These files are hosted on an SFTP server. Google provides specific SFTP locations where you can periodically push your files.
The following feeds are mandatory for Cruises integration:
Itinerary feed: Contains cruise sailing information.
Price feed: Contains cheapest cruise cabin prices for each type of currency.
File format specifications
Both feeds are in CSV format with a mandatory header row. All feeds should have the following specifications:
- Encoding: UTF-8
- Field delimiter: Semicolon (
;) - Line terminator: Windows (
\r\n) - Escape character: Backslash (
\) - Quoting: Double quotes (
