שינויים או תפוגה של אירוע

כשהתראה משתנה, צריך ליצור התראה חדשה שמתייחסת להתראה הקודמת. לא משנים או מסירים את ההתראה הקיימת מהפיד. אחרי פרק זמן מתאים, למשל 24 עד 48 שעות, מסירים מהפיד התראות שבוטלו, התעדכנו או שפג תוקפן.

כדי לטפל בשינויים או בתוקף של אירועים, פועלים באופן הבא:

• רכיב UPDATE או CANCEL <msgType> חייב לכלול לפחות רכיב <references> אחד.
• יש שלוש דרכים לבטל אירועים, לפי סדר העדיפות:
  1. מגדירים ערך <expires> dateTime לכל אירוע. בתיאור ההודעה, צריך לציין את הציפייה שההתראה הזו תסתיים מעצמה.
  2. תוך זמן קצר, תפרסמו הודעת <alert> חדשה שכוללת את <msgType> UPDATE, <responseType> "All Clear" ו-<expires>.
  3. שולחים הודעה חדשה בנושא <alert> באמצעות <msgType> CANCEL. ברכיב <references>, מציינים את ההתראה המקורית כדי לבטל אותה.
