Comments

On Orkut, an Activity Stream consists of a sequence of posts called activities. The replies and comments on each activity are described by this collection. 

Methods

Orkut allows comments on scraps as well, and they are also accessed through this collection.

list
Retrieves a list of comments, possibly filtered.
get
Retrieves an existing comment.
insert
Inserts a new comment to an activity.
delete
Deletes an existing comment.

Resource Representations

A comment on a particular post, which can be an activity, a scrap, a photo, etc. All comments have an actor (the user who posted the comment), and link to the original post.

Property Name Value Description Notes
kind string Identifies this resource as a comment. Value: "orkut#comment"
id string The unique ID for the comment.
published datetime The time the comment was initially published, in RFC 3339 format.
actor nested object The person who posted the comment.
actor.id string Unique identifier of the person who posted the comment. This is the person's OpenSocial ID.
actor.displayName string The name of the author, suitable for display.
actor.url string The URL of the author who posted the comment [not yet implemented]
actor.image object Image data about the author.
actor.image.url string A URL that points to a thumbnail photo of the author.
content string The content of the comment in text/html
links[].href string URL of the link.
links[].rel string Relation between the resource and the parent object.
links[].type string Media type of the link.
links[].title string Title of the link.
inReplyTo object Link to the original activity where this comment was posted.
inReplyTo.rel string Relationship between the comment and the post on activity stream being commented. Always inReplyTo.
inReplyTo.ref string Unique identifier of the post on activity stream being commented.
inReplyTo.type string Type of the post on activity stream being commented. Always text/html.
inReplyTo.href string Link to the post on activity stream being commented.
