Google Mobile Ads SDK
Select the tab for your platform:
The Google Play services library supports even devices that don't have the Google Play store. To update such devices, download and bundle the latest Google Play services SDK; then relaunch your apps to propagate updates to your users. Devices that do have the Google Play store are automatically updated to the latest version.
The Google Play services library does support publisher IDs from the legacy AdMob console, and is compatible with existing mediation adapters.
The iOS SDK utilizes Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA). The SDK uses IDFA under the guidelines laid out in the iOS developer program license agreement. You must ensure you are in compliance with the iOS developer program license agreement policies governing the use of this identifier.
This version of the SDK allows you to specify if you would like your app to be treated as child-directed for purposes of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Sample Applications and Analytics
We provide a number of sample applications to show how to use the Google Mobile Ads SDK to place ads into native applications. You can find these open source applications at the google-mobile-dev project.
A useful accompaniment to the Mobile Ads SDK is Google Analytics which enables you to easily measure the success of your mobile apps. The Google Analytics Mobile Apps SDK is available for both Android and iOS development platforms.
