Things-to-do vertical policies

To ensure a consistent experience when users interact with our Things-to-do inventory, all Things-to-do inventory must adhere to the appropriate guidelines. This page includes guidelines for the following activity types:

Admissions or attractions tickets

Only the primary ticket sellers, or service providers with whom the supplier has an active business relationship, can sell tickets for that admission or attraction. For details about the criteria that other sellers must meet, see Tours or activities providers.

Tours or activities providers

Not all services can be matched to their pickup location. To do so, the service must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • If the service location is publicly-accessible or admission is free, the service can be linked to the venue, even if it only requires a visit to the venue and the service isn't included in the price of admission.
  • If the location requires a paid ticket for admission, the service can be linked to the location if the service includes admission.
    • If the service only includes a visit to the place but doesn't include admission, then the service can't be linked to the location.


Support for events ticketing is currently limited to select events, such as concerts, sporting events, and pop-up events. For details, see events integration.
