The session will share key insights on understanding YouTube's audience and learning how to use all of the site's tools to build a channel that sticks.
Since joining YouTube in 2010, A.J.'s mission has been to design channels that both content creators and users will love. As a product manager for YouTube Channels, she is dedicated to making YouTube channels the video programming platform of the future. Prior to joining YouTube she held product management roles at Apple and Dow Jones. She earned her BS in Computer Engineering from Tufts University and her MBA from the Harvard Business School
Lane Shackleton is a Product Manager at YouTube. Since joining the company in 2006, he has worked across Google and YouTube to help marketers build their businesses. As a part of the monetization team, Lane works closely with engineering teams to build the next generation of advertiser buying tools and effectiveness metrics. Prior to Google, he worked as a mountain guide in Alaska, an environmental consultant in Australia and founded two wine companies. Lane holds a degree in Geology and Environmental Studies from Sewanee: University of the South and a certificate in general management from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
