Sigue esta guía para familiarizarte con el proceso de envío de eventos recomendados y personalizados de Google Analytics con la API de Data Manager.
En esta guía, completarás los siguientes pasos:
- Prepara un objeto
Destinationpara recibir datos de eventos. - Prepara los datos de eventos para enviarlos.
- Compila una solicitud
IngestionServicepara eventos. - Envía la solicitud con el Explorador de APIs de Google.
- Comprende las respuestas correctas y de error.
Prepara destinos
Antes de enviar datos, debes preparar al menos un objeto Destination para los datos. Estos son los campos de un objeto Destination. Consulta Configura destinos para obtener más detalles y ejemplos de destinos para diferentes situaciones.
operatingAccountEs la propiedad de Google Analytics que recibe los eventos. Establece
accountTypeenGOOGLE_ANALYTICS_PROPERTYyaccountIden el ID de propiedad de Google Analytics (por ejemplo,123456789).Las credenciales de la solicitud deben corresponder a una Cuenta de Google con el rol de editor o administrador para la propiedad.
loginAccountEs la cuenta a la que tiene acceso el usuario de la credencial. Establece

Prepara los datos de eventos
Antes de enviar datos de eventos en una solicitud, debes prepararlos de la siguiente manera:
- Formatea los valores sin procesar como se especifica en la guía de formato.
- Los identificadores de usuario, como las direcciones de correo electrónico, los nombres y los apellidos, deben codificarse con hash usando el algoritmo SHA-256 y codificarse con codificación hexadecimal (hex) o Base64.
- Construye tu carga útil de
Eventcon los valores con formato y hash.

Convierte los datos con formato y codificación hash de cada evento en un Event.
Requisitos de los campos de eventos

Requisitos de identificadores
Estos son los requisitos de identificador para cada tipo de flujo de datos:
Flujo de datos web
clientId- Obligatorio. Se establece en el identificador único de una instancia de usuario de un cliente web. Consulta las instrucciones del Protocolo de medición.
Flujo de datos de aplicación
appInstanceId- Obligatorio. Se establece en el identificador único de la instancia del usuario del cliente de la app. Consulta las instrucciones de Measurement Protocol.
Cómo Google maneja los datos de varias fuentes
Dentro del mismo evento y propiedad, Google Analytics utiliza transactionId para anular la duplicación del evento de diferentes fuentes (como la etiqueta de tu sitio web y las solicitudes de transferencia de la API de Data Manager). Google Analytics utiliza la información de la primera instancia del mismo evento que recibió.
Agrega datos del carrito
Propaga el campo cartData del objeto Event con información sobre los elementos asociados al evento. Usa este campo cuando envíes eventos recomendados de Google Analytics, como purchase, que requieren una lista de items.
Estos son los campos del objeto CartData:
items- Obligatorio. Incluye al menos un
Itemen esta lista.
Campos de artículos
Agrega uno o más objetos Item a la lista items de CartData.
Completa los siguientes campos para cada Item:
items.itemId- Obligatorio. Es un identificador único del elemento.
items.unitPriceOpcional. Es el precio unitario de este artículo sin incluir los impuestos, el envío ni los descuentos centrados en el evento (a nivel de la transacción).
Si el artículo tiene un descuento centrado en el artículo, usa el precio por unidad con descuento. Por ejemplo, si un artículo tiene un precio por unidad de
27.67y un descuento por unidad de6.66, estableceunitPriceen21.01.items.quantityObligatorio. Cantidad de unidades de este artículo en particular.
items.additionalItemParametersOpcional. Completa esta lista con cualquier parámetro centrado en el artículo que no se capture en los otros campos
Item. Usa el nombre del parámetro de la documentación de Google Analytics como elparameterNamedeItemParameter.Por ejemplo, en el caso de Google Analytics, si tienes la marca y la categoría de un elemento para un evento
purchase, agrega una entrada aladditionalItemParametersdel elemento conparameterNameestablecido enitem_brandyvalueestablecido en el nombre de la marca.No recomendamos agregar entradas a
additionalItemParameterspara los parámetros de elementosquantity,priceoitem_id. En su lugar, completa los campositemId,unitPriceyquantitydelItem, que tienen prioridad sobre cualquier entrada enadditionalItemParameters.
Agrega parámetros de eventos
Propaga la lista additionalEventParameters con los parámetros de eventos de Google Analytics que no se capturen en los otros campos Event. Los parámetros pueden incluir parámetros recomendados adicionales para el evento o cualquier otro parámetro que desees capturar. Usa el nombre del parámetro de Google Analytics para el parameterName de EventParameter.
Por ejemplo, si tienes los impuestos asociados a una transacción, agrega una entrada a additionalEventParameters con parameterName establecido en tax y value establecido en el costo de impuestos.
No recomendamos agregar entradas a additionalEventParameters para los parámetros de eventos de Google Analytics transactionId, currency o value. En su lugar, completa los campos transactionId, currency y conversionValue del objeto Event, que tienen prioridad sobre cualquier entrada en additionalEventParameters.
Agrega propiedades del usuario
Las propiedades del usuario describen al usuario en el momento del evento. Agrega una entrada independiente a la lista additionalUserProperties para cada propiedad del usuario.

Crea el cuerpo de la solicitud
Para crear el cuerpo de la solicitud, combina destinations y events, configura el campo encoding y agrega cualquier otro campo de solicitud que desees incluir, como validateOnly y consent.
Envía la solicitud
Sigue estos pasos para probar una solicitud desde tu navegador:
- Selecciona la pestaña REST y haz clic en Abrir en API Explorer para abrir el Explorador de APIs en una nueva pestaña o ventana.
- En el cuerpo de la solicitud del Explorador de APIs, reemplaza cada cadena que comience con
REPLACE_WITH, comoREPLACE_WITH_OPERATING_ACCOUNT_TYPE, por el valor pertinente. - Haz clic en Ejecutar en la parte inferior de la página del Explorador de APIs y completa las indicaciones de autorización para enviar la solicitud.
- Establece
validateOnlyentruepara validar la solicitud sin aplicar los cambios. Cuando esté todo listo para aplicar los cambios, configuravalidateOnlyenfalse.

Envía eventos para varios destinos
Si tus datos contienen eventos para diferentes destinos, puedes enviarlos en la misma solicitud usando referencias de destino. Consulta Límites y cuotas para conocer la cantidad máxima de destinos por solicitud.
