  1. Sign up

    1. If you don't already have one, sign up for a Google account.
    2. Create a BigQuery enabled project via the Google Developers Console.
  2. Run a query in the browser tool

    1. Navigate to the natality public dataset.
    2. Click the Compose query button.
    3. Copy and paste the following query into the text field:

      SELECT AVG(mother_age) AS avg_age, year
      FROM [publicdata:samples.natality]
      GROUP BY year
      ORDER BY year
      
    4. Click the RUN QUERY button.
