Product, account, and UI support (non-developers)

If your question is not about direct API requests, use the appropriate support channel:

Before contacting API support

Before submitting an API support request, verify whether your issue belongs in one of these dedicated developer channels:

  1. Test the request in API Explorer: Call the API method directly using the Try it! (API Explorer) panel on the reference documentation page (for example, properties.runReport). Testing in API Explorer rules out local implementation or client library issues and verifies that the problem occurs regardless of how you send the request.
  2. Client library issues: If the request succeeds in API Explorer and you've ruled out issues in your own code, but the call still fails when using a client library, file an issue in the client library's GitHub repository.
  3. Developer feature requests: Submit feature requests for the Data API v1, Admin API, Measurement Protocol, or BigQuery Export in the Developer Feature Requests issue tracker (see submission guidelines).
  4. Service outages: Check real-time service status on the Google Ads Status Dashboard.

Submit an API support request

For help troubleshooting direct calls to the Google Analytics APIs, fill out the Google Analytics API support form.

To help the engineering support team diagnose your issue, include the following details in your submission:

  • Google Cloud project ID or project number used to make the API call.
  • Google Analytics Account ID and Property ID related to the issue.
  • API name and version (for example, Google Analytics Data API v1, Google Analytics Admin API v1, or Measurement Protocol).
  • Complete request and response logs, including HTTP status codes, exact error messages, and request bodies (redact any access tokens or credentials).
  • Reproduction steps or minimal code snippet, along with screenshots of the Google Analytics web interface if comparing UI reports against API responses.
