Create a SSH public / private key pair
To create a SSH public / private key pair, follow the instructions in the SSH Setup documentation.
Key Point: Keep track of your public key. You need to provide it to Google in some of the later steps.
Note: Most Actions Center partners prefer to use the same public / private key pair across all feeds. If you wish to use a different key pair for each feed or for each environment, you may change your SSH key after the initial setup steps have been completed, within the Feed Configuration page of the Partner Portal. Refer to the Partner Portal documentation to learn how to change your keys.
Initialize the SFTP servers
Once you sign in to the Partner Portal, perform the following steps:
- Browse to the Onboarding Tasks tab.
- Enter your public SSH key.
- Click Submit.
This creates a set of SFTP servers for both sandbox and production environments. You can find the SFTP server usernames on the Feed Configuration page (documentation) in the Partner Portal.
Note: Use any SFTP client to access the Google-provided SFTP servers. Sign in with the private key you created for this project. The Google SFTP server is available at
sftp://partnerupload.google.comon port19321. This applies to both your sandbox and production servers.
Next steps
At this point, you can use the Partner Portal. You can optionally perform the following setup tasks:
- Within the Account and Users page, grant additional users in your organization access to the Partner Portal.
- Within the Brands page, configure the default Brand and set up new Brands in your Sandbox and Production environments.
For more information, see the Actions Center Partner Portal documentation.
