Question Configuration Guide

Two Choices with Image

Single answer type questions can be displayed with an image. You specify this type of question using the singleAnswerWithImage option in the type value.

Users will see two answer options with the uploaded image of your choice. Accepts GIF, JPEG, and PNG formats. Images larger than 300x250 pixels will be shrunk to that size. Animated GIFs are not allowed. If you have more than two options, only two will appear at a time via partial ordering but you’ll see results for all options. This question type can be used to screen respondents.

...minimal configuration

First, start with the minimal configuration. Here is a simple question about an image with two possible answers.

...when you have more than two answers

It is possible to specify more than two answer choices. In fact, it is possible to have up to 44 choices. However, only two answers will appear in the survey at one time. The survey results will show results for all answers, based on partial ordering. This is useful for finding the top answer choices associated with a particular image. In our example here, we can find which are the top words most respondents would use to best describe this logo.

If you need to diplay more than two answers on the screen at the same time, you will want to use the menu with image type question.
