The documents in this section explain how to use the Content API for Shopping to manage your client accounts as well as the data feeds for those accounts. The accounts used by feed aggregators to manage client accounts are called Multi-Client Accounts (MCAs); these accounts can also send API requests on behalf of their sub-accounts.
The following documents describe how to manage MCAs:
- The Using multi-client account feeds and entries section explains how to identify the URLs that you use to edit information about a client account or datafeed. This section also explains how to identify the URLs that let you retrieve the datafeeds for a client account. Finally, this section explains pagination in the API responses.
- The Managing Client Accounts section explains how to use the API to create, retrieve, update and delete accounts for your clients.
- The Managing Client Data Feeds section explains how to use the API to register, retrieve, update and delete your clients' data feeds.
All account management requests to the Content API for Shopping must be authenticated.
