    Personal or professional obstacles that were overcome to achieve success.

    The business’ positive impact on industry, society, community, or environment.

  • 20% Innovative use of Google products

    Unique and creative business uses of the internet and Google's products or services.

    Note: The judging panel will be made up of Google employees.

Mogo Reader is a Sri Lankan Android mobile news app that aggregates and categorizes local stories in local languages, making them available to those with limited access to news outlets.

Yellow Nepal

2014 Winner

Two entrepreneurs who met at a local startup event leveraged Google’s enterprise suite to create Nepal's first restaurant discovery, booking and deal-finding app - Yellow Nepal. The next step on their roadmap is to go global!

Imagina na Copa

Imagina na Copa is a collective of social entrepreneurs in Brazil using Google Maps to help mobilize local youth and motivate them to drive positive change in the country.
