A medida que un sitio web evoluciona, se agregan páginas nuevas y se quitan páginas antiguas, lo que genera posibles vínculos rotos. Mantener una campaña de Google Ads sincronizada con el sitio web puede ser un desafío para muchos anunciantes. Es posible que los anuncios en vivo dirijan a páginas inexistentes, lo que genera una experiencia del usuario deficiente y estadísticas de Google Ads imprecisas.

El Verificador de vínculos soluciona este problema mediante la iteración de todos sus anuncios, palabras clave y vínculos a sitios, verificando que las URLs no muestren el mensaje "No se encontró la página" o de otros tipos de respuestas de error, enviando un correo electrónico cuando se encuentren respuestas de error y guardando los resultados del análisis en una hoja de cálculo.

Algunas cuentas pueden tener una gran cantidad de URLs que no se pueden verificar en una sola ejecución debido a límites de tiempo de ejecución o quotas. La secuencia de comandos está diseñada para manejar este caso mediante el seguimiento de su progreso en varias ejecuciones y solo verificando las URLs que no verificó antes. La secuencia de comandos usa el término “análisis” para referirse a un pase completo por todas las URLs, incluso si se necesitan varias ejecuciones para completarse.

Alcance
Determina si la secuencia de comandos verifica anuncios, palabras clave y vínculos a sitios, y si la secuencia de comandos los verifica incluso si están detenidos. La mayoría de los usuarios deben incluir los tres para asegurarse de que todas sus URLs estén verificadas, pero por lo general, no es necesario verificar las entidades detenidas.
Códigos de respuesta válidos
Es la lista de códigos de respuesta HTTP que se consideran válidos. La mayoría de los usuarios deben considerar solo 200 como un código de respuesta válido.
Enviar un correo electrónico después de la ejecución de cada secuencia de comandos
Si habilitas esta opción, la secuencia de comandos te enviará un correo electrónico con un resumen de las URLs que verificó después de cada ejecución. Esto puede brindarte una alerta temprana sobre errores de URL, en lugar de tener que esperar a que se verifiquen todas tus URLs (lo que podría demorar varias ejecuciones).
Enviar un correo electrónico después de completar todo el análisis
Si habilitas esta opción, la secuencia de comandos te enviará un resumen consolidado por correo electrónico una vez que termine de verificar todas las URLs.
Enviar un correo electrónico incluso si no se encuentran errores
Si habilitas esta opción, la secuencia de comandos te enviará un correo electrónico (según las dos opciones anteriores) incluso si no encontró ningún error. La mayoría de los usuarios prefieren recibir correos electrónicos solo cuando hay errores. Sin embargo, recibir un correo electrónico incluso si no hay errores puede ser una forma útil de garantizar que la secuencia de comandos se ejecute según lo programado.
Guardar las URL correctas en la hoja de cálculo
Si habilitas esta opción, la secuencia de comandos guardará todas las URL que verifica en la hoja de cálculo, no solo las que tienen errores. La mayoría de los usuarios prefieren guardar solo las URLs rotas, pero es posible que a algunos les interese ver la propagación completa de URLs que verificó la secuencia de comandos.
Días entre los análisis
Usa esta opción para controlar la frecuencia con la que la secuencia de comandos inicia un nuevo análisis de toda la lista de URLs. Ten en cuenta que esta opción controla la cantidad mínima de días entre los análisis. El número real podría ser mayor si un análisis lleva más tiempo (por ejemplo, si tienes una gran cantidad de URLs). Consulta Programación para obtener más detalles.

En algunos casos de uso, puede que no sea suficiente con solo saber que la URL muestra una página válida. Por ejemplo, considera el caso en el que una página de producto contiene el texto "producto descontinuado". En este caso, puedes marcar la página como un vínculo roto.

La secuencia de comandos ofrece dos opciones de validación:

Cadenas de error

Configura Usar coincidencia de string de error simple en Yes para buscar casos de la lista de strings definidas en cadenas con errores. Cualquier caso que se encuentre en una página web marcará la página como dañada.

Validación personalizada

Para tener aún más flexibilidad, se puede usar una función de validación de JavaScript personalizada en cada URL y respuesta. Por ejemplo, puedes confirmar que el título de una página web contenga el nombre de tu marca de la siguiente manera:

  1. Establece la opción Usar función de validación personalizada en Yes.
  2. Inserta la lógica de validación personalizada en una función cerca de la parte superior de la secuencia de comandos:

Programación

Cada vez que se ejecuta la secuencia de comandos, detecta automáticamente si debe reanudar un análisis que ya está en curso o si el último análisis finalizó y es hora de iniciar uno nuevo (según la opción Días entre análisis). Como resultado, sin importar la frecuencia con la que desees iniciar un nuevo análisis, programa la secuencia de comandos para que se ejecute por hora a fin de que cada análisis itere en tus URLs lo más rápido posible.

Por ejemplo, configura Days entre análisisses como 1 para que la secuencia de comandos inicie un análisis nuevo no más de una vez por día. Si la secuencia de comandos está programada para ejecutarse por hora y termina de verificar todas tus URLs en menos de un día, las ejecuciones posteriores finalizarán de inmediato hasta el día siguiente, cuando sea el momento de comenzar un nuevo análisis.

Cómo funciona

Para realizar un seguimiento de su progreso, la secuencia de comandos crea una etiqueta y la aplica a tus anuncios, palabras clave y vínculos a sitios después de verificarlos. Luego, la secuencia de comandos puede identificar las URLs verificadas en su próxima ejecución. Una vez que se completa el análisis (se verificaron todas las URLs), la secuencia de comandos borra la etiqueta para realizar un análisis nuevo.

La secuencia de comandos usa UrlFetchApp a fin de verificar las URLs finales y las URLs finales para dispositivos móviles.
