Talita is UX Designer and Accessibility Expert who founded its own company called Utilizza to help developers and companies understand and implement Accessibility. Since 2005, she worked in several areas on the software industry, including web design, front-end development, quality assurance and requirements analysis, always thinking on the users and bringing User Experience (UX) approaches to her projects. Nowadays, she is fully focused on UX and Accessibility. She worked with projects with high impact for the private and public sector in Brazil, especially on the educational field, product design for a listing directory web application used worldwide, mobile design and front-end development for several websites. Talita has a BSc. degree with honors in Computer Science, already working with UX and Human-Computer Interaction during the undergraduate course. Since 2009, she has been an enthusiast of Web Accessibility. Thus, in her master degree, also in Computer Science, she focused on Web Accessibility for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder, which led to the development of an open source guide to design and evaluate websites inclusive for people with Autism, the GAIA project. The project was a finalist in the Brazilian National Award of Web Accessibility and was awarded as Best Paper in the Brazilian Symposium on Computers in Education. Currently, Talita is fully focused on UX and Web Accessibility for people with Cognitive, Learning or Neuronal Disabilities, with a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is a member of the Group of Experts in Web Acessibility of W3C Brazil and a volunteer of the Movimento Web Para Todos. She is also an active member in the Web/UX/front-end community in Brazil and speaker in conferences such as BrazilJS, Campus Party, Web.br - The W3C Brazil Conference, QCon São Paulo, etc.
