My Biography
Liza Goldberg is a biospheric researcher at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and a second-year student at Stanford University. She began her research at NASA at age 14, and employs remote sensing to monitor global tropical ecosystem vulnerability. Goldberg applies satellite imagery analysis towards aiding policy-makers in data-based sustainable development and conservation planning. Goldberg also leads The Atlantis Project, a global-scale initiative to train prospective climate migrants in climate projection education and disaster preparation. Goldberg is a National Geographic Young Explorer, and her research has been recognized in films by Google Inc., NowThis, and NBC’s Today Show, as well as publications in the Washington Post, Scholastic Science World, and Google’s The Keyword.
