Biography
Michael Ogundare is the CEO at Crop2Cash, an Agtech company building a bank for smallholder farmers in Africa. Michael’s passion for agriculture is driven by his vision of eradicating poverty by building solutions that can create prosperity for the base of the pyramid. He has a background in Computer Science with papers published in International Journals on how technology can improve agriculture and the livelihoods of farmers. Michael Ogundare is a fellow of several reputable Fellowship programs such as Acumen West Africa, Westerwelle Young Founders Fellowship, and others which have helped shape his leadership abilities, direction, and philosophy over the years. Michael’s work at Crop2Cash has put his company on the radar of global organizations like Google and Paypal. They are recipients of the Rockefeller Foundation Inclusive Finance Grant, and more recently the Google Black Founders Fund. Creating prosperity for smallholder farmers in Africa is Michael's long-term goal.
