Biography

Keshni Morar is a multifaceted professional with a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of entrepreneurship and business development. She is the founder of Investable, an advisory firm that helps tech startups with idea validation and raising angel, seed, and series A funding to scale their businesses. Additionally, she is in the process of building an angel network in South Africa that focuses on early-stage tech startups on the continent. She is also the Director of the Founder Institute, the world's largest pre-seed accelerator, where she is responsible for overall operations, fundraising efforts, and strategic partnerships to drive success and growth for early-stage startups in Africa. Keshni is a mentor with organizations such as The Hult Prize Foundation, The Jack Ma Foundation, The Venture Mentoring Team, The Forte Foundation, and Founder Institute. She is also an active advisor and investor for several startups that she has mentored over the years. Before entering the world of entrepreneurship, Keshni has accumulated more than 20 years of experience in multinational environments and held executive positions across various industries. She has built a reputation for operational excellence, innovative strategic thinking, working with the highest level of integrity, and a passionate commitment to company goals. She has a strong background in business development, mergers and acquisitions, and transformation and has led cross-functional teams in implementing over 200 integration projects with budgets rup to $6 million. She has experience in IT, telecommunications, financial services, retail, SaaS, education and healthcare sectors. In her career, she has managed and transacted with businesses in the telecommunications and information technology sector, including acquisition, divestiture, IPO, restructuring, and joint ventures with a value exceeding US$4.5 billion on the African continent.
