อินสแตนซ์ของออบเจ็กต์นี้จะเปลี่ยนแปลงไม่ได้
คลาสนี้ใช้ในการสื่อสารแบบ 2 ทางระหว่างแอปพลิเคชันของผู้ส่งกับแอปพลิเคชันของผู้รับ ผู้ส่งจะสร้างให้โหลดหรือแทรกรายการสื่อในแอปพลิเคชันตัวรับ GCKMediaStatus จากฝั่งผู้รับยังมีลิสต์รายการที่แสดงเป็นอินสแตนซ์ของคลาสนี้ด้วย
เมื่อโหลดแล้ว ผู้รับจะกำหนดรหัสสินค้าที่ไม่ซ้ำกันให้กับ GCKMediaQueueItem แต่ละรายการ แม้ว่าจะมีการโหลดสื่อเดียวกันหลายครั้งก็ตาม
