Who of your contacts stands out due to his communicative behavior? Friend or Foe (FoF) extends standard address book features with a classification into "Friends" or "Foes". This is calculated by the "communicativeness" of you and your contacts. The communicativeness is measured by examining in- and outgoing calls, the number of calls, the duration, and the number of in- and outgoing text messages (SMS). Additionally, Friend or Foe also takes into account the reaction time of your contacts after an unanswered call. Each call, for instance, to one of your contacts can beneficially influence the status of your contact. The software notifies about status changes and can assess a contact’s behavior. The main functions of Friend or Foe are: => All the standard address book functions => Contacts can be de-/selected for the FoF rating => The FoF rating can be freely configured => Detailed information about one contact’s behavior can be visualized => The rating tendency of a contact is presented => Notifications are given whenever a contact changes its status => The communication behavior is summarized => A possible behavior estimation and recommendation are given => Other people can easily be invited to join the FoF network ! => The communication activities are visualized in a chronology => The level of contact details can be configured => FoF gives information about your current call quota => Each contact can be presented and exchanged via 2D bar codes Friend or Foe was developed in the MobilityLab Center-of-Excellence on location-based Services hosted by Salzburg Research.
