Prepare for launch

This section covers how to prepare your Actions project for production deployment.

  1. Host your production data feeds that you plan to launch.
  2. Set the fulfillment endpoint URL of your Actions project to your production environment.
  3. Perform end-to-end testing using the Preview Tool.
  4. Run the Automated Testing Tool with your production data feeds and production fulfillment endpoint.
  5. After you complete all of the previous steps, conduct additional end-to-end testing of your integration in the Alpha channel.
  6. Fix any issues detected.
  7. During fulfillment, ensure that the Async Order Update API is getting called to update the order status back to Google.
  8. Perform tests for the incremental inventory updates, such as disable a service, change the price, or delete a menu item.
  9. Register your team's contact details to receive support related alerts and communication from Google using the Partner Contacts for Escalations form.
  10. When you are ready, promote the release version in the Alpha channel to the AoG Test and Production channels and contact your Google consultant.
